MT.aps Crystal Viewer - 3D Visualization of Bravais Lattices
MT.aps Crystal Viewer is a free Android application that provides interactive 3D visualization of crystal structures. It is an educational app designed to support students in materials science, solid state physics, chemistry, and related subjects. The app is developed by Materials Teaching Aps - MT.Aps in cooperation with the schools of Metallurgy and Materials and Computer Science at the University of Birmingham.
The app visualizes the 14 Bravais Lattices in 3D, showing their atomic positions and lattice sites. It offers six different motifs to choose from, and the 3D visualization can be rotated and zoomed in while containing one or several unit-cells.
